#10 (WEEK 5) Digital Storytelling

According to the wikipedia "Digital Storytelling" is an emerging term, one that arises from a grassroots movement that uses new digital tools to help ordinary people tell their own 'true stories' in a compelling and emotionally engaging form. These stories usually take the form of a relatively short story (less than 8 minutes) and can involve interactivity.

Discovery Exercise:

  1. Browse the Educational Uses of Digital Storytelling Website
  2. Create a story of your own using the StoryBox online tool or Microsoft's free software photostory
  3. Post the result of your discovery process in your blog. Note: If you use the online tool be sure to include a link to your story, so other participants can see/hear it too. Take some time and have fun with this exercise.
